How the home-screen icon works
YetCam prepares a browser-based install page so Safari can create a home-screen icon.
The icon opens the main MyFreeCams mobile route in a clean app-like browser window.

Add MyFreeCams to your iPhone home screen
Use this guide if you want a MyFreeCams icon on your iPhone without downloading an app file. The install uses Safari's built-in Add to Home Screen feature.
iPhone install steps
- 1Open this page in Safari on your iPhone.
- 2On iOS 26, tap the ••• button at the right of the address bar, then tap Share (on older iPhones, tap the Share icon directly).
- 3Scroll down and choose Add to Home Screen.
- 4Keep the name MyFreeCams and leave Open as Web App on, or rename the shortcut if you prefer.
- 5Tap Add, then open MyFreeCams from the new home-screen icon.
On iPhone this only works in Safari. “Add to Home Screen” isn’t available in Chrome or other iOS browsers.
For installation on iPhone, please open this page in Safari. This will not work in another browser.
